Meet the Miller Family! You would never know it was FREEEEEEZING for their family session. But these 4 were so incredibly amazing to work with and rocked out the session like it was a warm summer day. I had a blast capturing their adorable little kiddos and also snagging a few shots of just mom and dad and their love. Aren't they just the cutest!!? Here are a few of my favorites:
Meet 9 day old Heath! This handsome little boy was one of the sleepiest babies I have every had the pleasure of photographing! I think he stirred once and the rest of the session he was as cuddly as could be! And his hair is absolutely to die for!! Nothing cuter than a newborn mohawk!! Here are a few of my favorites:
Kimberly's maternity session was an absolute dream!! Having a maternity session the end of March can be tricky as the leaves are still dull from winter, but when Kimberly was ALL about pictures in a creek I was SOOOO excited! This brave mama didn't mind trekking through the freezing water for some of my favorite shots! I had a blast capturing this incredible moment for her and her hubby and loved being able to also capture their love for one another and for their baby boy.
HOLY COW! We are down to the final 4 weeks of this pregnancy (hopefully ;) )and I cannot even believe it. It feels like yesterday we were starting our IVF injections and I had NO idea how this journey would unfold. But here we are about a month away or so from meeting our baby girl and I am SO EXCITED. I have truly been blessed that this journey has been an extremely positive one and I have been able to continue to do the things I love while also growing and nurturing my precious baby.
I have learned so much about myself these last 8 months and also have seen the incredible things the human body can do. With every kick I am constantly reminded that there is this little person inside growing and it feels so surreal. It's bizarre and unpredictable and honestly a little scary! But it has been an adventure I am still trying to savor every single day!!
THE MOST INCREDIBLE part of this journey so far has been able to capture my pregnancy with a photographer I have admired for years. Her work is absolutely the most inspiring and unique and truly captures the magic of life. The original plan was for maternity photos for both Jeremy and I, but life, as I've learned, likes to throw us curve balls and Jeremy was unable to come with me. But Jeremy told me I had to go anyway and get my dream photos. So i ventured to Boston solo for the night and made my dreams come true! I got to work with my favorite photographer! Mary from Pebbles and Polka Dots Photography. The entire experience was UNBELIEVABLE. She made me feel gorgeous and every image I received was beyond what I had hoped for.
Maternity photos aren't for everyone but for me it was so important to make the most of this pregnancy. I hope for more kids in the future, but in case that isn't what is meant for us, I wanted to make sure I went all out for this one! You only have your first baby once! And although I know this last month is going to drag, the first 8 really have gone by so quickly :) Mary truly captured the magic of this time in my life and gave me images that I know Finley will want to see when she embarks on her own pregnancy journey.
As a celebration of making it to my final month I am running a newborn special through my due date( August 17th)!! Meet sweet baby Luke! He was my first newborn of 2017 and he certainly made it a great start to the year! At 12 days new he rocked his session and I ejoyed all of the snuggles!! He was the sweetest little guy and seriously ADORABLE!! Here are a few of my favorites!

Oh Lucas you handsome little man!!! I had the pleasure of meeting this ADORABLE baby boy last July and have photographed his milestones throughout the past year. Every session he comes in and melts my heart with his big blue eyes and playful personality. He is always so cuddly and full of smiles and I love every second of his sessions! Next month he turns one and I cannot believe how fast his first year has flown by. My favorite thing is that we have done a Harry Potter shot every session to see how much he has grown and changed every few months. Meet Julian!! He was my last newborn session of 2016 and could not have been a better way to end the year. He is so adorable and has the cutest little lips!! I always have a blast seeing this amazing family and am so happy for them on the addition of this handsomel little boy! He is really going to be heartbreaker :) Here are a few of my favs!
